Extended Day Program

Dear Westminster & MeetingHouse Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your interest in the AWRSD Extended Day program and for your patience as we work to get the program back up and running. We are asking you to complete formal registration for the program using the link found below. We have streamlined the registration and online payment process in a way we hope to be beneficial to families. Extended Day will run from 7 AM to the start of school and from dismissal to 5:30 at both J.R. Briggs and Westminster Elementary School (for WES and MHS students) each day that AWRSD is in session beginning Tuesday, September 7th. The first three days of school the week prior are needed to properly train staff and plan for the successful relaunch of the program.
We are thrilled that the Extended Day Program will be staffed in both locations by existing AWRSD professional staff supported by other employees and Oakmont Regional High School students. Each morning will consist of structured whole group activities, small group activities, and an opportunity for all students to have school breakfast (at no cost). Afternoons will consist of structured academic homework/enrichment time, active and outdoor time, creative projects, and other enrichment opportunities.
We are asking all families that are able to sign up for a set weekly schedule. For families with more fluid needs, there is an opportunity to select your needed days on a monthly schedule. If you are choosing a monthly schedule, the monthly calendar must be submitted by the 20th of the previous month. A calendar will be emailed to you once your registration is accepted.
